Hope for you

It's looking like a gorgeous day here.  Hope you are having a beautiful day wherever you may be.  After a week of tumultuous weather in other parts of the US, I am thankful to have a home still.    I keep reading about the horrific tornadoes  that struck parts of the mid west/south  and my heart breaks for those affected.  It's awful!  So many have lost their loved ones, homes, everything except the clothes on their backs.  Rescue efforts are ongoing.  Prayers for those suffering/enduring this tragic event.
Thoughts like these inspired me to make an encouraging card.  I love Psalm 71:5 "for you have been my hope."  I have trusted in Him since my youth and believe he will protect me through it all.

this is so amazing...love all the fun detail....

A beautiful and inspiring card! Love the way you did the tail of the bird.
In the Netherlands we hear and see the news sometimes of those tornado's in your country. It is a thing we don't have overhere. We can have very strong storms, a small tornado occasionally, but not wrecking as the ones overthere. I feel for the people who are suffering right now.

So pretty, Amy! Thanks so much for sharing your work with us in the Tea Room for our Colorful Confections with a tag challenge :)

Amy, your card turned out amazing. I love the way you have the bird seated in the frame with the feathers coming over the bottom edge. I also really like the soft color combination. Thanks for entering your card in this week's challenge at My Craft Spot. :)
