My Friend for Paper Playtime

At Paper Playtime we have a new friendship challenge that I am sponsoring  this week so please come on out and join in for a chance to win a kit to make this card!
The theme is friendship so I used a K. Andrew stamp with a few different papers from Echo Park and Simple Stories.  I added a Prima flower with a rhinestone to embellish.
Good luck!

SRM Stickers Graduation

Happy Monday!  I get to share two posts today!  This is the first and features SRM Stickers which is featured their blog today.

Graduations are in full bloom here.  We just went to a college graduation party yesterday to celebrate a friend's huge accomplishment.  Here are a few projects I made to inspire.

I made the card using Express Yourself Graduation sheet #42019 and Quick Cards #52038 Class of 2012.  I stuck with the blue, black, and white theme and kept everything to minimum so this set could be used for a boy or girl.  I did add a little brad to the center of the graduation cap and did a zig zag stitch on the front.
The mini album has a large oval to add a picture to.  Again keeping it simple, a zig zag stitch and two brads to embellish.  Inside are mini index cards pages to add messages of encouragement for the future grad, tickets,  and pictures from the special event.  Stickers used: Say it Stickers #51006 Thinking of You  and  Express Yourself   #42019 Graduation.
A simple way to say congrats to that student and provide a way to keep memories from that day forever.

Piggy Happiness

Hi there!  A beautiful sunny day today filled with much happiness for me today.  Hope yours was equally as nice!
My card is a fun whimsical design with lots of Basic Grey PB & J, SRM Stickers,  and a A Day For Daisies image.

I fussy cut the piggy out and popped him up on a bed of yellow scallops with a green polka dot print.  There's also a strip of the floral and little piece of red washi tape.  I used pinking shears to cut out a circle and placed my "happy day" sentiment on.  I hope you like!
This card was inspired by many challenges but first was Sentimental Sundays whom ADFD is sponsoring this week.  Our challenge is whimsy.  Please join us!

Bingo card projects for Vintage Street Market

Hey there! I have lots of Bingo creations for you today featuring VSM products. I adore these cards because they are printed on a thick card stock in a variety of sizes and colors. Each pack has 14 vintage inspired bingo cards, plus they are on sale for the month of May!  You can find them here.
My projects are whimsical with lots of Vintage Street Market goodies that I hope you enjoy!
First up is a tag I created with masculine appeal.  It will work nicely for Father's day!
I stitched around a panel of Family Fun's Captain Jack stripe and then  layered a Bingo Craft Card.  Next I wrapped a piece of black Twirly Twine  and tied a bow.  I added a "For You" ticket included with every Twirly Twine package and a cream crochet flower with a denim brad.  A piece of the "Aged" Tinted Tape along the bottom with some threaded buttons to complete the tag.
My next project is a card to celebrate my daughter's fabulous report card!
I love the red print of Meghan Kay from the Family Fun kit and here I have matted a panel of it to a card base to start.  Next I trimmed a piece of the Distinguished Dad also from the Family Fun set.  I cut a little polka dot pennant from the other side of Meghan Kay, which I stapled to the card front and added a brown Twirly Twine "Celebrate" ticket.  I hand cut a star from a Bingo Craft Card which sits a top a report card die cut that is wrapped in brown Twirly Twine.   I also added a glittered star chipboard piece with a little blue threaded button.  I stamped my sentiment, added a light blue photo corner to the bottom right corner, and embellished with a red bingo marker to finish.
My final creation is an altered frame I also created for my daughter.
The frame was covered in Family Fun's Marshall Matthew (don't you love this name!) red gingham print.  Then let the layering begin!  I created mini vignettes if you will with Bingo Craft cards.  The purple Bingo card is wrapped in black Twirly Twine and  cut out the little girl from the Family Fun set.  I embellished with a mini letter card, paper flower, red bingo marker (16 for my daughter's age), a small piece of lace, and a strip of vintage 16mm film.
The black Bingo Craft Card has a brown Twirly Twine ticker attached with foam dots for dimension.  Then I added a few paper flowers with embellishments.
Last step was adding a few pieces of the "Numbers" Tinted Tape.
I hope you like what I have shared today and please pop on over to the store to see the newest items and find out about our giveaways and discounts!  See you next month!

Let's Party Monkey!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!  Hope everyone had a great Sunday doing something they love.  I have a quick card to share today.  Lots on my list to do and never enough time to finish up it seems!

My daughter came over to my desk and said, "awww isn't that cute a card!"  Always warms my heart when she admires something I made.
I combined a Bugaboo image with SRM Stickers to make this birthday card for Sentimental Sundays this week.  I used the "We've Got Your Border" birthday to separate the yellow and blue pattern prints and added celebrate words to a journaling spot.  The little party hat he is wearing from the "We've Got Your Sticker"  birthday set which I matted on white card stock and then cut out.

I popped his yellow balloon up with foam dots.  A few red brads to embellish and I was done.  I didn't get a very good shot of this so sorry it is a little blurry.
I hope you will join us at Sentimental Sundays for our birthday card with B embellishments!

Second Mother's Day Card

As stated previously, I made two cards for this holiday and I am back to share the second.  This one is entirely different!

I so wish I had this figure!  And cupcakes too!  ;-)  She is from Bugaboo who is sponsoring Penny's  for our "I Love You Mom" challenge.  I adore her polka dotted dress and bow!  I colored her with Copics and added a little Stickles diamond glitter to the cakes. Which you can see better in the photo below.
Speaking of which, I feel like the luckiest Mom in the world here with my ever sweet daughter. She was in the Wizard of Oz play.  I had to laugh because we both have disheveled hair.  Never a coif.  :-) Still think she is beautiful no matter what!

Next Sunday is the day

for Mother's Day that is!  I made two cards yesterday and want to share this one with you today.
I used lots of new papers I bought with a few older embellishments and stamps mixed in.  My favorite way to stay on current is buying the latest paper lines and mixing in a little of the old to balance.  I have so many embellishments, ribbon, etc. that I truly don't need to buy any new items for several years but there are times I can't resist and must purchase a few.
For this card I paired Pink Paislee's London Market with embellishments from The Twinery, K & Co acetate die cut, Recollections rose and rhinestones, Lil Inker's stamps with SP & Co. stamps, and a button and journaling spot from craft supply.  An interesting array of products but I liked how it came together.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Card Makin' Mama's:  #44 Spring Photo
