Happy Birthday

Well, it's not really any one's birthday that I know of but it could be you or someone you know right?  I made this card for Penny's  challenge using Balloon Kaylee from Some Odd Girl .   I have to tell you my card is based upon Leah's design found here.  I am not normally a "caser" but I thought her card was just incredible! I also have to admit, these are not my "norm" digitals so I felt completely out of my zone.  I tried to add a little shabby with the paper, trim, and flowers.  So not used to this style.  I just want to be sure I give her the credit because she completely inspired me to try and I thank her ever so much for this!

I used Diamond Glaze on the balloons and Stickles on her socks.  A close up kinds shows this:

Drip, drip, drop little April showers

Hey there!   Hope you are having a fabulous week thus far.  I am back today with my Crafty Creations card for this week.  Our challenge is rain showers.  I really wanted to use this music sheet paper because I was thinking of the song, "April Showers" from Bambi while creating this. 

I used Some Odd Girl's "Sprinkle" image printed on American Crafts Gleam paper.  I paper pieced the eyes and then highlighted with a white gel pen.  The cloud paper is Twitterpated from Imaginisce.     I punched the bottom of this  with this tool  and then used a small circle punch for the centers.  I stamped the sentiment with a CTMH acrylic stamp from "Say It In Style" in black.
