A few before my hiatus

Well, try as I may I was not able to complete everything I wanted to get done before leaving for vacation. So... again that puts me in the slacker category but what I can say? If I didn't cut the grass my neighbors were threatening to fork my house. As painful as it may be for someone to put all those forks in the ground, it would be me pulling them out and the mallet was mentioned to make sure they were down in there good. Eeekkk! So I cut the grass today. Yep, it's not fun. It's a hideous task that I so wish my beloved fiance would do, but he's busy elsewhere. Boo-hiss.
And now I sit after laundry, mowing, cleaning, shopping, and packing to share a few cards with you before I leave.

Apparently I made a card for Card Patterns sketch #27 last week but never took a picture. Grrrr to me on that bo-bo move. Anyhow...the first card is last week's sketch

Card Patterns ( Michelle) announced it will be changing a few things around with the design team and welcomed a new artist and sadly said good bye to another. I love seeing the DT's work each week and like the unique styles of every artist. Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration you offer DT! I am look forward to seeing Nina's work but will miss Peter's.
