PumpkinSpice DT Call

Squeaking in one last card before I leave.  I made this card for the PumpkinSpice design team call.  Have you seen ShopPumpkinSpice?  If not, you are missing out because the products are at least 30% off retail.  I love deals on scrapbooking items!  Denine is a mom of four that started this business back in May 2010 to offer scrapbookers a chance to design their perfect kit at a discounted price.  The store has My Mind's Eye, Cosmo Cricket, Cuttelbug, Graphic 46, Echo Park, BoBunny and lots more.  What are you waiting for?  Get over there!
The call asks for a  new card especially made for this and  asks you to use two or more designer papers from the list.   I chose Echo Park and My Mind's Eye.  I will say MME happens to be my fave paper company because they always have a variety of lines ranging from cute to shabby chic.  Plus they have tons of embellies which I ♥.

I layered the stripe paper on a card base.  I cut a panel of the yellow polka dot paper and added a strip of the light blue print to the center.   I stitched the top and bottom together with grey thread.  I punched a ticket using my EK Success punch from the tiny red polka dot paper, cut in half and adhered to the panel.  Then  I wrapped the red baker's twine around the card three times, added a button, and tied a bow.
Next I stamped the doily and then cut out.  I popped it up with foam dots for dimension.  I punched a small circle from the tiny red polka dot and applied the sentiment with stickers and added to center of doily with foam dots.  I accented with rhinestones.
Supplies for my card:

cardstock: Recollections white
pattern paper: My Mind's Eye  Stella & Rose "Gertie" Delightful Sweet Stripe  and Echo Park Summer Days Borders and Rainbow
stamp: My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose "Gertie" Girly
ink: Stampin'Up Summer Sun
stickers: Echo Park Summer Days
rhinestones: Kaiser Craft
fiber: Martha Stewart red baker's twine
button: craft supply
tools: EK Success Journal Plate

Thank you for stopping by! Fingers crossed!

Such a fabulous card, good luck to you!

Your card is amazing. I hardly work with bright colors and this is so inspiring. I will give it a try in the upcoming weeks.
I love the layering and that doily stamp is a beautiful centerpiece. Its wonderful to see how something as shabby and soft as a doily matches so well with the bright papers. Love it!
Have fun in Paris!
