Today's card uses lots of techniques and a sweet image from Heather Ellis. Our challenge at Sentimental Sunday's this week is dry embossing. I have to admit I don't do this very often. I have Big Red (old Sizzix) machine that I have to pull out for die cuts and I just don't like it. Hubby bought me a Cricut a few years back but I told him I didn't need it and he returned it. I know, what was I thinking? I was thinking I wanted to wait till the market had developed and then I would invest in one. Still waiting I guess. Actually, I don't know where in the world I would store it. I have limited space in my studio area. Moving on...
My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Madison papers. I dry embossed a piece of Coredinations whitewash card stock with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and then sanded it to allow the gorgeous pink to show through. I punched several hearts and stitched them together with my machine at the bottom. I die cut a Spellbinder's label to adhere the image on and then stamped a sentiment on a tiny strip of pattern paper and cut to make a pennant. It is embellished with two pearls (love the softness) from Queen and Co. I thought it needed a little something for the top of the card so I added two photo corners from
I did paper piece her dress with a subtle print also from My Mind's Eye. The image is Pure Innocence 16 and can be found here. Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a blessed Sunday!
