More great news and a few cards

I was really blessed to be asked to be a part of the Digiments design team. Digiments is a new company opened by Michelle. She creates sentiments that you download and print out at your leisure. Why I love this...the image is always clear (no more smudges or uneven words), you can make the image larger or smaller (which is great for cards when I want it a little smaller and altered projects which I usually want larger), no physical storage (except my hard drive), and it only takes a click to print(no need to get ink pads, blocks, etc). Okay, that is fabulous!

Hurrah! Hurrah!

It's official! I was selected for a new position at Paper Popsicles as the Card Connoisseur. I will be contributing to the Paper Popsicles blog each week with a card sketch or recipe. I hope you will join me there for this exciting new feature and best of all... there will be prizes. Who doesn't like prizes? Stay tuned for the first post. I will update here when it goes live. I do have a card to share today. I completed the ICS #14 challenge. When Making Memories introduced the Noteworthy collection, I went crazy for it and bought a huge amount of it. Plus, a local scrap book store was closing and they were offering a discount on everything so it was a steal. I can't pass up on deals. Anyhow, I still adore this line and it seems to always inspire me. Here's my take on #14:

Just thinking

This card was fun to create. A little window with a Hambly screen print and a MME acetate bird I cut out and accented with a bling eye. This is a two for one challenge.
Melissa at Let's Scrap asked for a bird card and Sketches by Tamara recipe #46 asked for the following items on a card: stitching, rub on's, and a winged thing.

Another really cool sketch is available at Card Patterns. I am using some older papers by one of my favorite manufacturers, October Afternoon. I like the bright yellow mixed with the blues and olive green. They made me happy when I looked at them.

Card Patterns #11
