More going for green

Are you tired of seeing green on my blog yet?   I hope not because today I have another card with green.  And pink!  I remember in high school this was a hot color combo. Don't think I have seen it as hot  lately but do see that lime green is making a huge impact in the fashion industry.  Have you noticed the influx of shirts in this shade?  I love the color so glad it's considered "in". 
Today Sentimental Sundays has a "Let's Go Green" challenge.  Interpretation is as you see fit.  It could be the color or using something recycled, or upcycling as I like to write.  I did both because it fit so well.  I bought a "Life is Good" tee shirt last year and had the tag in my bin to use for crafting.  It's a pretty shade of green and happened to blend nicely with this image I had colored.  It's a nice sturdy piece of chipboard.  I covered the words on the tag with circles of cardstock.  Then layered the image on top to give my turtle the feeling of walking on air.  Okay, I am not so great with backgrounds, floors, etc.  I plan to work on it.  Meanwhile, the invisible floor carries my turtle to his destination. 

The turtle, Mr. Slow Poke,  is a Jane's Doodle image which you can find here.  I love the simpleness of her designs.  They are easy to color in and also cut out.
